Brendan is a North Queensland boy through and through. He was born in Townsville but grew up in Bowen.
He has achieved qualifications in multiple disciplines which makes a uniquely qualified Financial Adviser. He studied a Bachelor of Laws at James Cook University in Townsville and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the Australian National University in Canberra. He was awarded life membership to the Golden Key Society for academic excellence while studying at the Australian National University and admitted to the Supreme Court of Queensland as a legal Practitioner in 2010. Brendan completed a Dual Masters of Professional Accounting and Business Administration at James Cook University and an Advanced Diploma of Financial Planning from Kaplan Professional Australia.
Brendan is a keen touch football player as well as enjoying fishing and virtually anything on the water. He likes to keep healthy and active through cycling.
Brendan is part of the Rotary Sunrise group in Mackay that partners with the Mackay Regional Council to facilitate Mackay’s premier event, the Mayor’s Charity Ball each year. He is also a sessional academic with the Central Queensland University’s School of Business and Law. He also enjoys being an active part of the Young Professionals group in Mackay as well as an Associate member of the Financial Planning of Association of Australia. He is part of the local Mackay FPA Committee and will also be the Mackay Committee Chairperson for 2018-2020. If you didn’t think that was enough, Brendan is also a member of the Mackay Financial Planning Careers Development Group which helps to inspire new entrants to our industry.
